More on Games

This year we will be joining the Greater Edmonton Lacrosse Council (GELC) as an exhibition team. This will give us the opportunity to play both home and away teams in and around Edmonton.

To accommodate teams that travel from far away some games are played in Edmonton as a central location. There is the opportunity for us to play home games against teams from South Edmonton, Beaumont and Sherwood Park

Should a team wish for additional exhibition games we try to limit travel to 1-1.5 hrs. Last year we played in Stettler and Ponoka.

Equipment

Lacrosse Stick, helmet with face mask, mouth guard, arm and elbow pads, shoulder & chest pads, back and kidney pads, gloves, Athletic Support & Cup (Jock or Jill), running shoes, knee pads (optional)

Goalie Equipment, balls, nets, clocks, and jerseys will be provided by the association.

More on Fees and Fundraising

All fees must be paid in FULL before season start. In addition to fees we are hoping to complete a single bottle drive fundraiser in April. A successful bottle drive along with some community donations should fund the entire season of play.

Coaching and Team Managers

We are looking for parents to both help coach and manage teams. In addition we have joined the Alberta Lacrosse League (ALA). The ALA does provide resources for new coaches, new refs, along with other resources to help all of us that are learning the game.

Camrose Vikings Lacrosse Association

We are a volunteer association and love help. If you are interested in helping the organization, coaching, reffing, or anything else just let us know.
